What is a nulligravida?
A woman is considered nulligravida until she becomes pregnant for the first time. Once she has been pregnant, even if the pregnancy ends in miscarriage or abortion, she is no longer considered nulligravida. Instead, she is referred to as "para", which indicates that she has been pregnant at least once.
The term nulligravida is commonly used in obstetrics and gynecology, as well as in other areas of healthcare. It helps healthcare providers understand a woman's reproductive history and can be useful in making informed decisions about her care.
