What is functional neurology?

Functional neurology is the study of the relationship between the structure and function of the nervous system. It deals with the relationship between the nervous system and the rest of the body, and how the nervous system controls and coordinates bodily functions.

Functional neurology involves the study of the brain, spinal cord, peripheral nerves, and sensory organs, and how they interact with each other to control movement, sensation, perception, cognition, and behavior.

Functional neurology also includes the study of how the nervous system is affected by injury, disease, or other factors that can disrupt its normal function.

It is a branch of neuroscience and closely related to neuropsychology, neuroanatomy, and neurophysiology.
