How to Make Garlic Salve

Things You'll Need

  • 3 tbsp. Coconut oil
  • 3 tbsp. Extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tbsp. Garlic
  • Saucepan
  • Blender
  • Strainer
  • Large glass jar

Instructions

      Put 3 tbsp. coconut oil in a small saucepan. Turn the head on low. Heat it in the pan until the coconut oil is totally melted. Add 3 tbsp. of extra virgin olive oil and stir it in well. Remove from heat.

      Mix 1 tbsp. of garlic into the mixture of coconut oil and olive oil. Put the mixture into the blender. Set the blender first at a low speed and then at a high speed. Blend it for two to three minutes. Pour the mix into a strainer to remove any chunks of garlic.

      Put the mixture into a large glass jar and put the lid on tightly. It will become the texture of a salve after one hour. Keep it in the refrigerator.
