  • Stone heating unit
  • Thermometer
  • Large towel

      Place a hand towel on the floor of the stone heating unit and arrange the stones on top. Pour water into the unit, up to the level that the manufacturer indicates. Turn on the unit.

      Wait for the water to get hot. The temperature should be between 135 and 140 degrees. Use a thermometer to check. Place a large towel on a flat surface close to the heating unit.

      Turn off the heating unit when the water is at an appropriate temperature.

      Use a spoon, or the tool included in the massage stones packaging, to lift the stones out of the water and place them on the towel.

      Wait for the stones to cool to a comfortable temperature. When the stones feel comfortable to your touch, place them on the client's skin at the appropriate pressure points.
