      Eat vitamin-rich foods to help you see better. Studies have shown that certain foods contain nutrients (such as beta-carotene and other vitamins) which help improve eyesight. These foods include carrots, cold-water fish such as cod and tuna, eggs, spinach and other green leafy vegetables, garlic, onions, soy, wine, blueberries, grapes and fruits and vegetables containing vitamin A, C and E.

      Take supplements to improve your eyesight. Vitamins play an important role in a person's overall health, including eyesight. The vitamins that are vitally important for improving eyesight include vitamin A, vitamin C, beta-carotene, B complex vitamins, magnesium, zinc, gingko biloba, chromium and selenium.
