Place one hand over the nostril that the popcorn kernel is not stuck inside.

Place a tissue in front of the open nostril and blow. In some cases, this is enough to remove the kernel.

Continue closing the opposite nostril if the kernel did not come out with blowing alone. Breathe in a small amount of black pepper to provoke a sneeze. The added force can help remove the popcorn kernel.
