How to Make Natural Eye Drops
Eye drops are a topical solution people use to relieve dryness, itchiness, redness, swelling and soreness of the eyes. While several commercial brands contain medication to treat specific conditions, you can make a natural solution for dry eyes at home. Should you decide to make natural eye drops, you must exercise caution to ensure you do not expose your eyes to bacteria. - Pot
- Eyedropper
- Metal tongs
- Paper towel
- Green teabag
- Sea salt

Pour a cup of water into a clean pot and boil for five minutes to sterilize it.

Place an eyedropper into the pot of boiling water for two minutes, then remove it with a pair of metal tongs and set it aside on a clean paper towel.

Add 1/2 tsp. of finely ground sea salt and a green teabag to the pot of boiling water. Remove and discard the teabag after three minutes. Turn off the heat.

Allow the water to cool completely before capturing some in the eyedropper to use for dry eyes. Do not use the water when it is still warm because you could injure your eyes.

Discard unused water after one use.
