• The Hypnosis Center of Virginia Beach offers a 7 day training course for individuals interested in traditional or clinical hypnosis. The center is recognized by the National Guild of Hypnotists and the International Medical and Dental Hypnotherapy Association. Upon completion of the training program, you will be a certified member of the NGH and the IMDHA. You will receive additional training resources and be qualified to begin performing hypnosis immediately. Hypnosis Maryland Institute

• Located in Germantown, Maryland and run by practicing hypnotist Laura West, the Hypnosis Maryland Institute offers classes every season. You will study on 3 levels: basic, advanced and emotional transformation. West also offers individualized instruction plans (for an additional fee) for people who find the class schedule inconvenient or do not want to study in a classroom setting. After completing West's 3 level course structure, you will be qualified to take the International Medical and Dental Hypnotherapy Association certification test.

Master's Center and Institute of Hypnosis Sciences

• Founded and run by Dr. Phillip Holder, PhD., the Master's Center offers an intensive hypnotherapy training course taught by Dr. Holder himself. Dr. Holder is recognized by the National Guild of Hypnotists, the International Medical and Dental Hypnotherapy Association and the American Council of Hypnotist Examiners, to name just a few of his prestigious honors.

  You will begin with 3 days of intense study on the campus of Bucks Community College, followed by online learning via Vista Blackboard and home videos. You will conclude you studies with 5 more on-campus learning days, where you will practice your hypnosis skills on actual subjects. At the conclusion of the course, you will be a certified hypnotherapist.
