How to Heat a Foot Bath
Soaking your feet in a warm foot bath can relieve tension and ease stress after a long day. A foot bath or foot spa is a basin that you fill with water and use for soaking your feet. Depending on the brand and model, they may massage, vibrate or heat your feet. Transport the foot bath to the area where you want to sit and soak your feet. Place the bath on a level surface with an electrical outlet nearby.

Turn the foot bath to the "OFF" position and make sure it is unplugged.

Fill the pitcher with lukewarm water and transport the water to the foot bath. Do not fill the foot bath directly as it can become heavy and hard to carry. Pour the water into the foot bath until it reaches the fill line.

Plug the foot bath into the electrical outlet. Turn the foot bath "ON" and select your heat setting. Start with a lower temperature and then gradually increase it as you acclimatize.

Sit down and put your bare feet into the foot spa. Do not stand in the foot bath.

Allow your feet to soak for 15 to 20 minutes.
