      Lift the rear of the heating unit cap while rotating it in a counterclockwise direction. Lift the heating unit upwards to remove it from the Vicks Vaporizer water reservoir.

      Add water from the tap to the Vicks Vaporizer water reservoir container. Fill it to the "MAX" level.

      Put back the heating unit securely on the Vicks Vaporizer water reservoir. Evenly align the locking tabs on both sides of the heating unit with the two slots on the water reservoir.

      Turn the heating unit clockwise to securely tighten it onto the water reservoir. Put your Vicks Vaporizer on a flat surface and at least four feet away from your bedside and plug it in.

      Fill the medicine cup with the Vicks Vaposteam that came with the unit. The inhalant can be used for one cycle, which lasts 12 to 14 hours. When the water level in the vaporizer reaches the "MIN" level it will automatically shut off. Unplug and discard any leftover water from the reservoir, and then wipe it dry.
