How to Use Symbicort
The Symbicort inhaler comes with three functioning parts: the inhaler canister, the mouthpiece cover and the inhaler canister's holder. Remove the mouthpiece cover from the inhaler, then hold the inhaler upright.

Shake the inhaler well for five seconds to mix the contents of the canister.

Press the top of the inhaler canister to release a test shot of medicine. Make sure the mouthpiece is nowhere near your face. Release your fingers, and then spray another test shot.

Position the mouthpiece in your mouth. Shoot the medicine by pressing the top of the inhaler, then breathe in. Hold your breath for two to five seconds, then release. Take one more puff, if needed.
