After-Sauna Tips

Drink mineralized water after using the sauna to replenish minerals and water lost while sweating. Adding a little sea salt to your diet can also be effective.
Considerations

Individuals who have pre-existing conditions or who are sensitive to heat should use the sauna for short periods of time in the beginning. Go once a week for ten to 15 minutes and gradually increase the number of days per week. Also, the elderly and women who are pregnant should use saunas with caution or under medical supervision.
