How to Use Magnets in Cupping Therapy
Cupping is an ancient Chinese medicine used for relieving pain and stress in the body. The technique involves glass or rubber bulbs placed on the skin's surface. When heated (if glass) or squeezed (if rubber) it draws the skin upward, sort of like a reverse massage, rather than downward into the body. Magnetic cupping has become more popular with the effects magnets have on the body. They have been proven to stimulate electrical currents throughout the body, which in turn stimulates oxygen flow and blood circulation to promote healthy healing within the body.Things You'll Need

1
Apply a small amount of cupping cream to the area that will be treated. The cream aids in creating a smooth surface for the cup to grasp onto.

2
Screw the magnetic tip into the bulb. The bulb and cup are already attached, with the cup on the bottom and bulb attached above it as its suction. The cup is an upside-down "v" shape, and the bulb sits above it, and looks like a rubber light bulb. So, you can flip the device over, insert the magnetic tip through the opening of the cup and screw it into the base of the bulb.
The magnetic tip resembles a short crayon with a rounded point on the end. It will not puncture the skin because it is not sharp. The tip will stick out far enough to apply pressure to the skin's surface once the skin is pulled upward by the suction. This is a form of acupressure that is done while cupping.

Squeeze the bulb of one mechanism, place the cup on the skin, and then release your grip. The bulb will begin to draw your skin up into it, and the magnetic pins will assert pressure onto your skin as well.
Place as many cups as you prefer on your body. There is no harm in using one or all of the cups you have. No needles are involved, and the only aftermath is several red rings that you might have for a few days.

Allow the cups to stand for about 15 minutes. Simply squeeze the bulbs to release the grip the cups have on your skin, and lift them off.
