Although there are no official studies to prove its efficiency, pectin-infused Certo has been used to reduce swelling in joints. Found in any grocery store, this product uses grapefruit, apple and citrus pectin and is used as a gelling agent in many food industries.

For an at-home remedy for your arthritic pains, try a mixture of grape juice and Certo. Mix 2 tsp. of Certo with 1 to 3 oz. of grape juice. Drink this mixture two times a day. You can also add 2 tsp. of Certo to 8 oz. of grape juice and drink this once a day.
