1
See your doctor, chiropractor or alternative health care practitioner and have yourself tested for leaky gut syndrome if you suspect this is what you may have. Today most medical doctors will test for leaky gut syndrome, although there are still those who do not recognize this as a valid disease.
-
2
Stop taking pain killers such as ibuprofen and any other NSAIDs. Stop smoking and do not drink any alcohol products.
-
3
Remove all caffeine, sugar, high fat foods (this includes most fast food), white flour products, gluten-containing grains such as wheat, barley and oats, milk and dairy products and any foods to which you may be allergic from your diet.
-
4
Eat lean meat, fish, chicken, fruits and vegetables and fruit and vegetable juices (without added sugar or other additives).
-
5
Chew food very thoroughly so your digestive tract has less work to do. Eat several (6 to 8) small meals a day as opposed to 3 larger meals.
