How to Use Lugol's

Lugol's Iodine is a iodine tincture made with 3% concentration of potassium iodine in distilled water. Iodine is a necessary nutrient in the human diet, and deficiencies can cause conditions such as goiter, cretinism and hypothyroidism. While seaweed and ocean fish provide healthful amounts of iodine, these foods are rare in a modern diet. Lugol's may be recommended by your physician if you eat a non-iodized salt.

How to Use Lugol's

  Add 1 tsp. apple cider vinegar to an 8 oz. glass of purified water.

  Shake the bottle of iodine.

• 3

  Add one drop of Lugol's to the glass.

• 4

  Drink mixture on an empty stomach 20 minutes before you eat once each day.
