Read anything and everything appropriate to your chosen subject. Immerse yourself in that world, so you are constantly surrounded by it . Don't go overboard and neglect your job or family, of course, but make it your primary hobby.

Focus and pay attention at all times. Do not allow yourself to be distracted while you are practicing and immersing yourself in your chosen subject. The intuitive mind must be sharp and focused.

Balance your sharp and focused mind by giving it some relaxation. Let your mind wander and rest by taking time for yourself. Locate a lake, a river or another natural quiet spot where you can meditate, pray or simply relax and take in nature's beauty.
