  Wash your hands thoroughly to remove any germs or bacteria. Fill the NeilMed Sinus Rinse bottle with 8 oz. of warm water. Cut the corner off 1 NeilMed sinus rinse packet and empty the contents into the sinus rinse bottle. Tighten the lid and then hold your finger over the hole and shake slightly to mix the solution.

  Stand with your head over the sink. Place the tip of the NeilMed sinus rinse bottle into 1 nostril and squeeze about 1/2 the bottle gently to release the solution into your sinus cavities. Breathe through your mouth and allow the sinus rinse to drain from the opposite nostril. Repeat this step with the opposite nostril.

  Blow your nose carefully after rinsing, but do not squeeze your nostrils as this can cause pressure in the eardrums.
