      Shop around for breathable shoes. These shoes can include flip flops and sandals for the spring and summer. For breathable shoes in the winter, you can buy canvas shoes or shoes with leather uppers that can be machine washed. Also going barefoot can help keep your feet from smelling bad but we can't always go barefoot and that is why it is best to find the right kind of breathable shoes that will prevent or eliminate foot odor.

      Take a handful of Epsom salts and add it to a pan of warm water. Let feet soak for 20 to 30 minutes, for several days. Epsom salts are common for sore muscles and infected cuts but have been known to get rid of foot odor.

      Steep five teabags in a quart of hot water for 10 to 15 minutes. Allow to cool and soak your feet for 30 minutes. This can be done every day or every other day.
