How to Apply Sunscreen

Step 1: Prepare your skin.

- Wash your skin with a gentle cleanser and pat it dry.

- Exfoliate once or twice a week to remove dead skin cells.

- Moisturize your skin to help the sunscreen adhere better.

Step 2: Choose the right sunscreen.

- Look for a sunscreen with a broad-spectrum SPF of 30 or higher.

- Choose a sunscreen that is suitable for your skin type (e.g., oily, dry, sensitive).

Step 3: Apply sunscreen to your face and neck.

- Use your fingers to apply a pea-sized amount of sunscreen to each of the following areas: forehead, nose, cheeks, chin, and neck.

- Blend the sunscreen in until it is absorbed.

Step 4: Apply sunscreen to your body.

- Use a golf-ball-sized amount of sunscreen to cover your body.

- Apply the sunscreen in circular motions until it is absorbed.

Step 5: Reapply sunscreen throughout the day.

- Reapply sunscreen every two hours, or more often if you are swimming, sweating, or spending time in the sun.
