How to Find a Reflexologist, by Grace Covelli
-
1
Check the American Reflexology Certification Board website. Here’s where you’ll find a list of Board Certified Reflexologists. You will gain access to a list of qualified reflexologists by clicking on the state you wish to find your reflexologist in.
-
2
Check the internet. Type “reflexologists” into the search bar to access pages of links you can click on to locate a reflexologist.
-
3
Look for practicing reflexologists in an alternative healthcare directory. Reflexologists advertise their business in publications such as these.
-
4
Check local spas, chiropractic and podiatric offices. Many doctors know reflexology is an excellent complementary therapy and will refer you to a reflexologist if you request to see one.
-
5
Check local massage facilities. Reflexology is thought of as a form of massage by some people, even though it is a therapy that is separate from massage. Many places that offer massage also offer reflexology.
-
6
Ask your doctor to recommend a reflexologist to you.
