How to Locate the Reflexology Heart Zone
For patients who wish to stimulate the heart function and to create a better working heart without medicine, reflexology is the holistic way to go. Reflexology dates back to ancient Egypt where it was common practice to treat medical illnesses. In reflexology pressure is applied to various parts of your hands and feet called zones in order to stimulate different organs.Instructions

1
Instruct the patient to relax and get into a comfortable position. You need to have access to their left hand and left foot when treating the heart zone with reflexology.
-
2
Move around to the foot of the patient.

3
Hold the left foot in your hands with your thumbs on the sole of the foot. Place your thumb in line with the first toe just above the arch of the foot. Rub across the foot to just before the third toe and back. Work out any tension or stress in the area. This area is the heart zone of the foot.

Take the patient's left hand into your hand. Use your thumbs to apply pressure. Starting at the inside edge of the pinky finger, work across the pad of the hand to the edge. The pad of the hand is the portion of the hand below the fingers. Rub across the hand until the patient has not more pain tension or discomfort. This is another reflexology heart zone.
