What is trepadone?

Trepadone is a tetracyclic diterpene that has antifungal, antibacterial, antiviral, anticancer, and anti-inflammatory properties. It has been isolated from the liverwort Porella japonica. Trepadone has been shown to be effective against a variety of fungi, including Candida albicans, Aspergillus fumigatus, and Cryptococcus neoformans.
