Do doxycycline and fluconazole cure trichomoniasis?

Doxycycline and fluconazole are both antibiotics used to treat infections caused by bacteria and fungi, respectively.

They not indicated for the treatment of trichomoniasis.

Trichomoniasis is a sexually transmitted infection caused by a parasite called Trichomonas vaginalis. The recommended treatment for trichomoniasis is a single dose of either metronidazole or tinidazole.
