A urine sample is not typically required for a hemorrhoid examination or diagnosis. Hemorrhoids are swollen blood vessels in the anal canal or rectum, and are usually diagnosed through a physical examination and medical history. If additional tests are needed, a digital rectal exam or anoscopy (visual examination of the anus and rectum) may be performed. Urine analysis is not routinely used in the evaluation of hemorrhoids.
