How to Remove Bed Lice

Chemicals used for outdoors should not be sprayed on indoor bedding or any item that you will be in contact with. According to Dead Bugs, Microban X-580 is relatively safer than other chemicals and is very effective in destroying bedbugs and lice. One initial application is typically sufficient.

If you prefer not to use chemicals on your personal bedding, purchase a dry vaper steam cleaner. Heat kills bedbugs and lice, as well as their eggs.

Another option is a hot wash. Add a strong laundry detergent to hot water, and thoroughly machine wash your bed linen several times; two consecutive washes should suffice.
