Why does it feel like there is a booger in my right nostril for week but nothing there?

* Allergies: Allergies, such as hay fever, can cause inflammation and swelling in the nasal passages, leading to a feeling of congestion and a sensation that there is something stuck in the nose.

* Sinusitis: Inflammation of the sinuses, known as sinusitis, can also cause a feeling of fullness or pressure in the nose and make it feel like there is a booger stuck inside.

* Dryness: Dryness in the nasal passages can cause the mucus to become thick and sticky, making it harder to clear and creating a feeling that there is something stuck in the nostril.

* Foreign object: It's possible that there actually is a small foreign object, such as a piece of dust, lint, or a dry skin flake, stuck in your nostril.

* Nasal polyps: Nasal polyps are small, non-cancerous growths that can develop in the nasal passages and can cause congestion and a feeling of obstruction.

* Deviated septum: A deviated septum is a condition in which the nasal septum, which is the bone and cartilage that separates the two nostrils, is off-center. This can cause congestion and difficulty breathing, and can also create a sensation of fullness or pressure in the nose.
