How to Get Rid of Bed Bugs in India

Bed bugs are tiny insects that ingest the blood of humans and animals. They are small, but can be seen with the human eye and are red brown in color. Bed bugs can often be found in just about any country in places such as hotels, dorms, apartments and used furniture stores. They make their homes in mattresses, furniture or carpet, wherever they have easy access to their food supply. Bed bug bites can cause irritation and rashes to develop on the body. Bed bugs can quickly multiply and lead to an infestation if you do not get rid of them quickly. Signs of a bed bug infestation are blood stains on the mattress or empty skins from their shedding found near your bed. Pesticides should never be used where you sleep; instead use a natural remedy such as diatomaceous earth.

  Scatter diatomaceous earth around and underneath your bed. Diatomaceous earth's sharp edges cut the bed bugs when they crawl over it. It's non-toxic and won't harm humans or animals, but will cause insects to bleed to death.

  Sprinkle diatomaceous earth under your mattress and also inside your mattress, if possible.

  Sprinkle diatomaceous earth around any furniture in the infested room.

  Inspect your room for cracks or crevices, any place bed bugs can hide, and place some of the earth into the cracks.

  Allow some time for the bed bugs to die from the diatomaceous earth before vacuuming it up. Bed bugs are nocturnal, so they won't come out until right before dawn. You may also want to leave the earth sitting for several days to make sure the bed bugs are dead.
