If the bite is severe, seek medical attention immediately.

Wash the bite thoroughly with soap and water to remove any remaining dirt and saliva from the wound.

Dry the bite with a gauze pad and apply hydrogen peroxide to the wound and surrounding skin to disinfect the area further. Allow the hydrogen peroxide around the wound to dry.

Apply antibiotic ointment to all areas of the wound with a clean gauze pad and wrap the wound with clean bandages.
