How does the position of a worms nerve cord compare with your cord?

Unlike humans, worms have a ventral nerve cord which consists of a double nerve cord extending along the length of the body on the lower surface. The worm's nerve cord is analogous to the spinal cord in humans, which is located dorsally (on the back) and enclosed within the vertebrae.
