Are boogers the same as eye boogers?

Boogers and eye "boogers" are not the same and have different origins and compositions.

Boogers:

While both boogers and eye "boogers" are made of mucus, their compositions and functions are slightly different. Boogers are primarily designed to trap particles in the nose, while eye "boogers" help lubricate and protect the eyes.
