How to Make Whitefly Soap

Whiteflies aren't actually flies, but they are a nuisance to gardeners. The adults lay eggs in a circle around the plant while feeding, creating spirals in eggs. Adult whiteflies tap into the veins of plants and suck up the juices (phloem sap) to feed. They also secrete a slime that attracts other insects, creating a bigger infestation. Making whitefly soap is a way to remove whiteflies manually. The mixture is easy to make; however, you will have to be aggressive in your treatment of the whiteflies.
