How to Use Food Grade Diatomaceous Earth on Sores
Diatomaceous earth is an all-natural, 100% organic product made from the microscopic remains of tiny fossilized, hard-shelled, algae-like water plants. These tiny water plants have been an integral part of the earth's ecology since the days of the dinosaurs, inhabiting all the waters of the earth and serving as the primary food for aquatic life. Food grade diatomaceous earth, when taken internally, has shown a marked improvement in many skin conditions, rashes and benign lesions. Diatomaceous earth is 84% silicon dioxide (silica), one of the most important trace minerals found in the human body. Collagen, largely made up of silica, is literally the glue that holds our skin together. If our bodies have adequate silica, the collagen repairs skin damage and helps prevent scarring.Things You'll Need
