I fell and hit my head was left with large bump just between brows on forehead . How soon should it go away?

It is difficult to accurately predict how long it will take for the bump on your forehead to go away, as healing time can vary depending on individual factors such as your age, overall health, and the severity of the injury. However, here are some general guidelines regarding the healing process of a head injury:

Initial Swelling: Immediately after the injury, you may experience significant swelling and pain in the affected area. This is a normal response to trauma, and the swelling may reach its peak within the first 24-48 hours.

Gradual Improvement: Over the next few days, the swelling and pain should gradually start to subside. You may notice some discoloration around the injury, such as bruising or darkening of the skin. This is also a normal part of the healing process.

Resolution of Lump: The large bump on your forehead will likely take some time to completely resolve. On average, it may take several weeks to a few months for the lump to fully disappear. During this time, the bump may gradually reduce in size and become less noticeable.

Seeking Medical Advice: If your head injury was severe or resulted in any additional symptoms (such as persistent headache, nausea, vomiting, or vision changes), it is important to seek medical attention immediately. A healthcare professional can assess the severity of your injury and provide appropriate treatment recommendations.

Remember, everyone's healing process is unique, and the timeline for your bump to go away may vary. If you have any concerns or if the bump does not seem to be improving over time, it is always best to consult with a medical professional for further evaluation and advice.
