What bone forms upper jaw?

The maxilla or maxillary bone is a bone that forms the upper jaw and part of the floor of the orbit (eye socket). The maxilla contains an oval opening, the infraorbital foramen, for the passage of the maxillary nerve and the blood vessels that accompany it.
