Zeolite for Brain Cancer Treatment

Unfortunately, some individuals are attempting to profit from cancer patients who are desperate to find a cure for inoperable and terminal cancers. Many companies are now marketing a substance called "zeolite" for use as a natural cancer remedy. Zeolite is a term that is used to define any crystalline, porous mineral that contains certain chemicals.

• The zeolite sold as a cancer cure is a chemical harvested from the volcanic mineral clinoptilolite. Clinoptilolite is found in the soil in some parts of the world and is abundant in parts of Turkey.

Types

• There are several types of zeolite, some of which are in the same family as asbestos. Some types of zeolite are suspected to have caused a certain type of lung cancer known as mesothelioma.

Misconceptions

• Despite many zeolite vendors' claims to the contrary, there is absolutely no credible scientific evidence to suggest that zeolite can prevent, treat or cure any type of cancer.

Detoxification

• Some zeolite dealers claim that cellular zeolite will detoxify the body. There is no evidence to support this claim; however, if it is true, taking zeolite could be harmful to cancer patients on chemotherapy because chemotherapy is technically a toxin.

• Zeolites have been used in medicine as a wound dressing and as a treatment for diarrhea.
