Veterans Administration Cancer Treatment Centers

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, the American Cancer Society and other agencies have recognized that Agent Orange, a chemical used to strip foliage during the Vietnam War, is associated with various cancers. Though the chemical is not the only cause of cancer in veterans, about 1.5 million military personnel were exposed to the carcinogen. Veterans seeking cancer treatment have dozens of VA medical centers from which to choose.
