Im 12 and i have had a letter about my cervical cancer jab am absolutely terrifyed does it hurt?

The cervical cancer jab is a quick and safe injection that helps protect you from the human papillomavirus (HPV). HPV is a common virus that can cause cervical cancer and other types of cancer. The jab is given in two doses, usually spaced a few months apart.

Most people don't feel any pain when they get the jab, but some people may experience a slight stinging sensation. The injection site may also be a little bit sore for a few days afterwards. These side effects are usually mild and go away on their own.

It's important to remember that the cervical cancer jab is a very important vaccine that can help protect you from a serious disease. If you're feeling anxious about getting the jab, talk to your doctor or nurse. They can answer any questions you have and help you feel more comfortable.
