Is there a vaccine for muscular dystrophy?

There is currently no vaccine available to prevent muscular dystrophy. Muscular dystrophy is a group of genetic disorders characterized by progressive muscle weakness and degeneration. Since muscular dystrophies are caused by genetic mutations, vaccination cannot be used as a preventive measure. However, research is ongoing to develop potential treatments and therapies, including gene therapy and gene editing, to address the underlying genetic causes of muscular dystrophy.
