When cells are cancerous what they doing uncontrollably?

When cells become cancerous they undergo uncontrolled cell growth and division, a process known as neoplastic growth or malignant transformation. This process involves several abnormalities in cell cycle regulation and other cellular processes, leading to the formation of abnormal, rapidly dividing cells that invade surrounding tissues and spread to other parts of the body through a process called metastasis.
