Where are the lungs found in body?
The lungs are located in the thoracic cavity, which is the upper part of the body that is enclosed by the ribs and the sternum. The lungs are separated from each other by the mediastinum, which is a space that contains the heart, the great blood vessels, the trachea, and the esophagus. The right lung is larger than the left lung and has three lobes, while the left lung has only two lobes.
