Breathing Difficulties

Another common symptom of lung cancer involves difficulty with breathing. This may be shortness of breath or trouble catching a breath.
Wheezing

Many people who suffer from lung cancer also exhibit the symptom of wheezing. This generally happens upon each breath.
Pain

People with late stage lung cancer usually experience some sort of pain. It will usually be dull to moderate pain in the chest. This pain may also branch out into other areas of the body, depending on how far the cancer has metastasized.
Weight Loss

As with most forms of cancer, many people who have late stage lung cancer will experience weight loss.
Loss of Appetite

In late stage lung cancer, people will generally not feel well. This will permeate into their appetite, making them not as hungry as they would normally be.
