Cancer Patient Grants
For patients living with cancer, paying for medical, transportation or even prescription costs can be quite prohibitive. Many cancer societies and organizations offer grant funds to individuals to assist them in paying for these extra expenses. Grants usually only total a few hundred dollars, and there are only a limited number given out each year.-
Healthcare Provider Grant Program
-
The Healthcare Provider Grant Program is administered by the Lymphoma Research Foundation, and assists uninsured or under-insured patients who need help paying for medical bills associated with their treatment. These funds are given directly to health care providers for costs that the patient's insurance does not cover and that the patient cannot afford. Generally, grant amounts will only be a percentage of the total cost of the unpaid medical bills, and amounts will be determined on a case-by-case basis. To be eligible, applicants must show that they need financial help, and they must be currently receiving lymphoma treatment. This should also be the first time that applicants have applied for this program.
