How can you tell if your child has cancer?

Childhood cancer symptoms:

- Unexplained weight loss or gain

- Fatigue

- Frequent headaches

- Vision changes

- Bone or joint pain

- Easy bruising or bleeding

- Swollen lymph nodes

- Persistent fever

- Skin rashes or lumps

- Changes in bowel movements

- Swollen abdomen

Red Flags:

- Persistent fevers

- Prolonged, unexplained symptoms

- A white or yellow coating inside the cheek

- A limp

- Bruises that appear easily or without injury

- A swelling or a spot in your child’s abdomen

- Eye that appears to “turn” in or out

- Head tilt

- Excessive thirst

- Unusual sleepiness

- Rapid breathing

- Persistent pain

- Pale skin color

- Weight gain or loss

- Nausea

- Vomiting

- Diarrhea

- Headaches

- Seizures

- Weakness

- Fatigue

- Dizziness

Seek immediate medical attention if you notice any of these warning signs.
