Signs & Symptoms of Ovarian or Uteran Cancer

Ovarian and uterine cancer can be difficult to detect early on as many patients do not experience symptoms until the later stages. Should you see any of these signs or encounter any of these symptoms, speak with a trained professional and visit your doctor immediately.
  1. Bloating

    • While most women tend to retain water before or during their period, excessive bloating, or bloating that will not subside, could be a sign of ovarian cancer.

    Vaginal Bleeding

    • Abnormal uterine or vaginal bleeding, especially in post-menopausal women, can be a warning sign for ovarian or uterine cancer.

    Painful Intercourse

    • Women who experience pain or bleeding during sexual Intercourse should consult with a doctor to rule out the possibility of cancer.

    Vaginal Discharge

    • One symptom of ovarian and uterine cancer can be the occurrence of an abnormal vaginal discharge, particularly those filled with mucus and sometimes blood.

    Pelvic Pain

    • Persistent pain in your pelvic area can indicate the onset of cancer. Painful urination and stomach cramps should be seriously addressed as well.
