Add the raw spinach and romaine lettuce leaves to the 2 qt. salad bowl. Add the other chopped ingredients including the carrot, bean sprouts, peas and onions. If you like other ingredients in your salad, you can add them to the bowl as well.
-
2
Add 2 whole cloves of garlic with the 1/2 cup of crumbled feta cheese to a small food processing device. A food processor such as the Magic Bullet or a similar device is useful. You can also use a manual chop processor as well.
-
3
Add the extra virgin olive oil and pepper to the processor. Operate the food processor until the contents blends into a lumpy mixture. The garlic cloves will be almost pureed into the cheese and oil.
-
4
Pour the contents of the food processor over the top of the salad contents in the 2 qt. bowl.
-
5
Toss the salad with salad tongs to thoroughly mix the ingredients. Serve without dressing with any type of meal as a side dish, or as a meal of its own.
