Ovarian & Pelvic Cancer Symptoms
Ovarian cancer begins in the pelvic region and is a severe and life-threatening cancer that affects women. Risk factors include inherited gene mutations, family history, history of breast cancer, obesity, menopause, infertility, hormone replacement therapy and the use of male hormones in medical treatment. Ovarian cancer is referred to as the "silent killer," as its symptoms often do not appear until the disease has spread.-

The symptoms of ovarian cancer are often nonspecific, resulting in misdiagnosis. It is common for a woman to be incorrectly diagnosed of another disease before the ovarian cancer is detected.
Bladder

Symptoms can include urinary problems. This can include a sense of urgency and frequent urination.
Pain

Symptoms can include pelvic pain or discomfort.
Stomach

Symptoms can include abdominal pain, along with bloating and a feeling of pressure and fullness. The stomach area may become larger.
