Can pancreatic cancer be diagnoised by colonoscopy?

Pancreatic cancer cannot be diagnosed by a colonoscopy. A colonoscopy is a procedure in which a thin, flexible tube with a camera on the end is inserted into the colon and rectum to examine for abnormalities. Pancreatic cancer occurs in the pancreas, which is a different organ located behind the stomach.

Different diagnostic methods are used for pancreatic cancer, such as imaging tests (such as ultrasound, CT, or MRI scans), blood tests, and endoscopic procedures such as endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) or endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) with biopsy.
