What do you if think might have skin cancer?

If you think you might have skin cancer, it's important to see a doctor or dermatologist as soon as possible. They can examine your skin and determine if you have skin cancer, and if so, what type it is. Early detection and treatment are key to successfully treating skin cancer.

In the meantime, there are a few things you can do to help protect your skin:

* Avoid sun exposure, especially during the peak hours of 10am to 4pm.

* Wear protective clothing, including sunglasses, a hat, and long sleeves and pants.

* Use sunscreen with a sun protection factor (SPF) of 30 or higher.

* Reapply sunscreen every two hours, or more often if you're swimming or sweating.

* Avoid tanning beds and sunlamps.

If you notice any changes in your skin, such as new or changing moles, or sores that don't heal, it's important to see a doctor or dermatologist to have them checked out. Skin cancer is highly treatable when caught early, so it's important to be proactive about your skin health.
