Who can get testicular cancer?

Testicular cancer most commonly affects men between the ages of 15 and 35, but it can occur at any age. The risk of testicular cancer is higher in men who have:

- A family history of testicular cancer

- A history of undescended testicles

- A condition called Klinefelter syndrome

- A personal history of testicular cancer in one testicle

Men who are exposed to certain chemicals, such as pesticides and herbicides, may also have an increased risk of testicular cancer. However, the overall risk of testicular cancer is low, and most men who develop the disease are curable.
